About SwimCare Swim School

SwimCare Swim School operates two purpose-built learn-to-swim centres, with Boambee servicing the South Coffs area and Moonee servicing the North Coffs area. Boambee was established in 2001, followed by Moonee in 2017.

Together, our two centres have helped thousands of families across the Coffs Harbour region develop safe and confident swimmers.

Across both centres, our focus is on structured swimming lessons that build water safety, confidence and strong swimming technique through steady progression.

Swimming Lessons for All Ages

SwimCare provides swimming lessons for babies, children, adults and squad swimmers across our Boambee and Moonee locations.

Our programs guide swimmers through every stage of learning, from early water familiarisation and confidence building through to stroke development, endurance and advanced swimming technique.

Whether learning to swim for the first time or continuing through more advanced levels, swimmers are supported according to their age, ability, confidence and stage of development.

Learning to swim is one of the most valuable life skills a person can develop. Along with improving water safety and confidence, swimming also supports fitness, coordination, endurance and overall wellbeing.

Structured Progression and Personal Attention

Water safety is the first priority throughout our swimming programs. As swimmers become more confident in the water, lessons progressively develop floating, breath control, swimming strokes, technique and endurance.

Our structured progression pathway allows swimmers to build strong foundations before moving to the next stage. Instructors continually monitor each swimmer's development and progression so they can advance when they are ready.

With small class sizes in our learn-to-swim programs, instructors are able to provide individual attention and guide swimmers according to their confidence, ability and learning pace.

This personalised approach helps create a supportive learning environment where swimmers can develop their skills steadily and confidently.

Experienced and Qualified Instructors

Our team consists of qualified swimming instructors holding AUSTSWIM and/or Royal Life Saving teaching qualifications, with experience teaching swimmers across a wide range of ages and ability levels.

All instructors maintain current CPR certification.

Many of our teachers have been part of SwimCare for many years and are passionate about helping swimmers develop confidence, improve technique and progress through each stage of their swimming journey.

Through patience, encouragement and consistent instruction, our team works to help every swimmer develop strong swimming and water safety skills.

Purpose-Built Learn-to-Swim Facilities

Both SwimCare centres feature heated indoor swimming pools, providing a warm and comfortable year-round learning environment.

Our pools are maintained to high water quality and cleanliness standards, supporting safe, consistent and focused swimming lessons across all levels.

Our facilities are designed specifically for swimming lessons and skill development, with pool areas suited to different ages, abilities and stages of progression.

Boambee provides a range of pool sizes and depths, as well as diving blocks, along with indoor and outdoor play and family areas.

Moonee features dedicated shallow teaching areas, an indoor wet play area with fountains and water features, and is conveniently located within Moonee Market.

Both locations are designed to provide a practical, welcoming and family-friendly environment for swimming lessons throughout the year.
