Our Boambee facility in South Coffs has been designed specifically for swimming lessons and skill development.

The facility features heated indoor pools operating year-round, allowing lessons to continue regardless of weather conditions. The varying pool depths and sizes provide ideal learning environments for swimmers of all ages and abilities.

Families also benefit from additional facilities including an indoor play area, outdoor playground, light refreshments and ample parking conveniently located close to the facility entrance.

At SwimCare Boambee in South Coffs, our instructors are passionate about helping swimmers develop their skills and progress through every stage of the SwimCare program.

Our team includes qualified instructors holding AUSTSWIM and/or Royal Life Saving teaching qualifications. Together, they provide instruction across all levels of the SwimCare program, supporting swimmers from their first lessons through to advanced swimming and Squad training.

Using SwimCare's structured program, our instructors work with each swimmer at their individual stage of development, helping them build skills, achieve progression milestones and continue progressing through the program.

When are swimming lessons available?

Swimming lessons are available throughout the week, with class times varying depending on age, ability and demand.

During NSW school terms, the Boambee office is generally open from 8:30 am – 6:30 pm weekdays and 8:00 am – 1:00 pm Saturdays. Lessons are commonly scheduled before school, throughout the morning, after school and in the evenings. Some classes, including Squad training, may operate outside normal office hours.

What should I bring to swimming classes?

To ensure that you or your child have the most comfortable and enjoyable experience possible, we recommend bringing the following items to class:

Swimwear – suitable for swimming lessons
Towel – for drying off after class
Goggles – recommended for most classes
Water bottle – to stay hydrated
Change of clothes – for after the lesson
Swim nappy – required for babies, toddlers and any child who is not yet toilet trained

Swimming caps can also be helpful for swimmers with longer hair, while swimming ear plugs may assist those who are prone to getting water in their ears.
